Granite and Quartz Worktop Installation

How to Get your Granite / Quartz Worktop Installed

Image of a granite worktop being fitted. When installing a granite, marble or quartz worktop the’DIY’ way it can be a pretty daunting and complex task if the measurements have not been taken with preciseness. It is also important to make sure you stencil out the sink, hob and any other fixtures so that the fabricator can cut these sections out with the correct machinery.  At Marble and Quartz we can make this process easy and straightforward so that you can be confident that the worktop fit will be precise, stunning and the perfect fit for your kitchen. We send our experienced fitters who will template your kitchen so that the worktop is fitted flush on your units.

The first step of this process is the kitchen cabinets. The base units need to be fully installed. The kitchen hob needs to be chosen as well as the sink. This is to ensure that the precise measurements can be taken during template.  If you are unsure on the colour of the granite, marble or quartz why not pop down to the showroom where one of our friendly members of staff will have a cuppa and a chat with you to help you choose a colour which complements your kitchen units.  Feel free to bring a sample of your kitchen cabinet to place against slabs of worktops to make your final decision. Once you have decided on the colour and material of your choice our fabricators will begin to cut the quartz, granite or marble using CNC, water-jet cutting machines. We return to your kitchen after five working days to install your stunning worktop to complete your kitchen.

At Marble and Quartz we understand and appreciate the passion, design and time that goes into designing your kitchen and home and we aim to make these ideas and designs become a reality with ease and customer satisfaction.
